With a strong presence across Europe and ambitious plans for growth in France, this is an opportunity to join a respected international business with high-quality products and a long-term commitment to engineering excellence.
The Opportunity
As Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for growing sales of automation components across France, with a primary focus on the Île-de-France region. You’ll manage existing customer relationships while actively identifying new business opportunities in the manufacturing sector. This position offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a direct impact within a global organisation that values initiative and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across manufacturing industries, targeting OEMs, distributors, and system integrators.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and partners.
- Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements.
- Contribute to forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and wider European team to align regional strategy and growth initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in sales of automation components (such as drives, PLCs, controllers, or similar hardware).
- Strong technical understanding of industrial automation or electrical/mechanical engineering principles.
- Fluent French and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with strong organisational ability.
- Based ideally in Île-de-France, with flexibility to travel across France.
Why Apply
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a respected global automation brand with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. You’ll have autonomy in your region, the support of a world-class team, and the ability to shape long-term growth across France’s industrial markets.
