Frankland Automation is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a well-known, world-class automation systems integrator based in the Chicago area!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the concept and design of manufacturing machinery and assembly equipment, covering various applications, including plastics, packaging, FMCG, and building materials. It’s a hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 from home) with limited travel (around 5%).

This is a unique opportunity to play a key part in the rapid upscaling of an independent and privately owned automation system integrator. With a plan to grow the business by 400% (>$100M) over the next 5 years through both inorganic and organic growth, this role will suit a fast-moving and hands-on candidate who wants to play a crucial part in shaping company success. They are long-term thinking, privately owned, and have substantial investments from business owners.

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Extensive experience as a mechanical engineer in an automation company or in the automation department of a manufacturer.
• US citizen or green card holder. No sponsorship is available for this role.
