This is an opportunity to join a well-established logistics automation business as their Group Business Development Manager. In this role, you’ll explore opportunities across multiple sectors, focusing on e-commerce, groceries, parcel, and cross-docking applications.

They’re in the process of launching a new and highly unique product portfolio, launching in April 2024. It’s the only system globally to solve high-intensity, high-frequency applications, and it has captured the interest of some of the largest grocers and logistic service providers globally.

The business has already invested heavily in the UK market, and it’s looking to continue growing through continued investment in partnerships, headcount, and revenue growth. This role will play a key role in shaping the business’s growth.

Further responsibilities include:

• Defining the sales strategy for the UK market and then executing it.
• Developing and managing relationships with system integrators.
• Managing relationships with end customers and driving demand both directly and through partners.
• Working closely with the group CEO to help realise their growth ambitions.
• Engaging with the technical and R&D teams based on customer feedback to help improve the product, delivery, and project management.

What are we looking for?

• This role will suit an entrepreneurial profile with high self-motivation and a hands-on approach.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics automation sales.
• Based in the UK and willing to travel nationally.
