A new opportunity to join a well-known and highly reputable European manufacturer of sensors and control technology.

This vacancy is completely new and will be responsible for launching and managing a new control technology product line globally. The first of its kind, this product line is perfectly adapted to the needs of the plastics market and has a vast potential to dramatically improve plastic manufacturing efficiency in a “one-stop” control and automation package. With the product ready to launch, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced business development manager with the ability to define a route to market and implement their plan on a global level.

Initially, the focus will be on the European and Chinese markets, where they have large customers already ready and waiting to see the portfolio in action.

Other responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Group Chief Sales Officer to realize the portfolio potential.
• Working with partners, R&D, marketing, and sales, to effectively launch the portfolio.
• Defining and implementing a sales and marketing plan.
• Global travel

What are we looking for?

• In-depth experience in the PLC (programmable logic controllers) world.
• International sales experience, with the ability to work cross-culturally.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Located in the North of Italy, preferrably around the Milan/Bergamo area.
• Salary range: €70K – €80K + bonus + car + benefits
