DeltaV Engineer
Frankland Automation is currently working with one of the largest and fastest growing privately owned automation companies globally – We’re looking for a DeltaV Engineer, to assist on a broad variety of pharmaceutical projects across both Ireland and Europe.
Title: DeltaV Engineer / Project Engineer.
Experience level: 5+ years with DeltaV.
Location: Dublin, Ireland.
Salary range: Up to €75K, plus bonus, benefits.
Contract type: Full time, permanent.
Sponsorship available? No. There is a strong preference for an EU passport holder due to EU travel requirements, but we can also consider stamp 4 holders.
Responsibilities:
- Owns and leads the technical aspects of projects with small to medium sized teams
- Assists Project Manager in identifying changes in project scope and developing change orders
- Translates functional requirements to system configuration
- Designs control system network architectures and control strategies
- Serves as a technical contact for customers
- Programs controllers and configures automation equipment
- Selects automation equipment and instrumentation
- Designs electrical control cabinets and panels with support from CAD technicians
- Tests the system configuration to verify functions
- Travels to client site for project meetings and system verification.
